we had our second annual Soup picnic today and the soup was yummy. Due to the high concentration of veggies, some of the students were not so brave, but many of the students loved it! Thank you to the HS foods class that made it for us!

Blog Madness

October 9th, 2019

My appologies! Apparently in the updating process, my blog has sent out a whole bunch of old posts. I’m not sure how or why as this is beyond my knowledge, But I am sorry about the confusion or inconvenience! I have not posted since yesterday so anything before this can be ignored! Have a fabulous sunny, fall day!

Chapel

October 8th, 2019

Our Chapel focus this month is prayer. We are memorizing the Lord’s Prayer as our memory verse and the children are learning the components of prayer. Our Chapel leader, Mrs. S, has started Prayer Journals where each class has a stuffy and a Prayer Journal to take home. The students may keep the stuffy and prayer journal for one week and will fill it out at home and bring it back each Monday. Our first student is Alexis and the children are excited to see who will take the stuffy home next.

Soup Picnic

October 7th, 2019

On Thursday, October 10th, the HS Foods class will be serving us a soup picnic created from veggies from our own garden. The students will be served one bowl of veggie soup and a bun. Last year, the soup was delicious! If you think your student, might not like the soup, then sending a lunch will be helpful. We will be having our lunch early that day to accomodate serving the whole school with hot soup.

Colour Books

October 1st, 2019

We are now finished our review of the spelling of the common colours. These booklets are easy for most of the class. The simple repetition makes beginning readers feel more confident and fluent and spurs them on to read more. Please take a few moments and have your student demonstrate their reading skills for you!
